I learnt to play ensemble music with The Sussex Band of The Royal British Legion at Horsham, playing tenor, eventually baritone saxophone. Later I played baritone in The Conchord Big Band and soprano, baritone and alto saxophones in the Brian Balchin Big Band.
I am currently playing baritone with Big Band Sounds and The Royal British Legion dance band, the Legionaires. I am also attending a Jazz Improvisation Course at Brighton University.
My main musical interests are big band swing, modern jazz and rock and pop songs from the sixties and seventies.
