Having a 20 year break from playing drums and having played some 50 gigs in 3 years (mostly in pubs) I now find my self immersed the world of Big Band Swing. Previous crimes include Rock and Blues. I still jam now and then with some guitarists to re-create the sounds of the Rolling Stones, Cream and the Allman Brothers. I am currently taking lessons with Phil Solomon in Brighton and he has given me a broader aspect to drumming including Latin, Jazz and of course Big Band!. Influences and heroes of mine include Louie Bellson, Steve Gadd and Billy Cobham
